Carol Florence Graham

“Stories are about connection – connection to each other, to ourselves and to the world around us.”

Story Space was founded in Herefordshire in 2005 by Carol Florence Graham – a poet-storyteller, writer, and facilitator. Over the years Carol has worked with people from all walks of life and she has a deep understanding of stories and storytelling and about developing creative skills. She continues to explore the ways that stories come alive between the teller and the told; how the external environment creates and shapes a story, and also how the inner space of the imagination can be nurtured and developed.

Carol has a BA (Hons) in English and American Literature and has qualifications that have deepened her understanding of storytelling, creativity and holistic learning. These include ‘Psyche and Soma’ (Sesame) – exploring the transformative energies of metaphors within stories, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Mentoring and Coaching. She teaches Tai Chi Movements for Well-Being and writes, performs and produces her own work.  Carol enjoys encouraging and supporting others to find their own voices – both on and off the page.

“My work is ever-evolving and I’m always learning more about the transformative power of story and metaphor.”

Carol is a member of Equity, Lapidus (Words for Wellbeing), and the National Association of Writers in Education
