Story Space Writing Workshops – Hereford

These writing workshops are an invitation to take some time to reflect on the stories we tell and also the way that we tell them. The courses offer a structured and supportive process that explores personal storytelling and allows us to decide whether our current stories are ready to be reshaped and refined. There may be new and exciting stories that are ready to emerge!

Your Story

You may be arriving at a crossroads; contemplating a change in lifestyle, or beginning a new project. Or perhaps needing to revitalise a current working practice or personal situation.

One: Developing Creativity

Slow down and deepen your connection with yourself, with others, and with the world around you. Discover how a gentle sequence of movements, distilled from Tai Chi and Chi Gung, can promote mindfulness and relaxation. Arts and writing activities then lead to a greater understanding of personal creativity whilst revealing individual gifts and talents.

Two: Mission & Vision

Create a personal mission statement that enables you to describe your true calling and then set out what it is you really want to do. Carefully chosen arts and writing activities will you help clarify this mission, and define your vision. This process enables you to bring more of your authentic purpose into the world – in a clear and confident way.

May 16th – 17th 2020

Three: Story & Storymaking

Explore the world of the Imagination with playful activities that develop an understanding of Story and also nurture Storytelling skills. This workshop reveals how traditional tales illuminate aspects of our own lives and bring depth to our personal stories. There’ll be plenty of opportunities to engage creatively with Story and to develop new insights and wisdom.

Booking Information

All booking is through Eventbrite (follow the link on the course dates) and workshops are also listed on www.craftcourses.com No previous writing experience is necessary. There’s also a follow-on coaching session (50 mins) included with all courses. This takes place by email, FaceTime or similar, or phone, or in person if convenient.
