Words for Wellbeing
Writing workshops that are inspired by our need to slow down and contemplate the world around us. We’ll read or listen to carefully chosen poems, along with a selection of creative arts activities. This leads into a variety of guided and free writing exercises. This writing process can help illuminate feelings and clarify thoughts, and work can then be shared others. These workshops strengthen the connection to our authentic selves, to each other, and also to the flow of life through the seasons.
I run closed groups for the Ledbury Poetry Festival Community Programme which includes sessions with West Mercia CRC, and Rose Tinted Rags in Hereford. Also Grange Court in Leominster and Hereford Community Farm in Breinton.
In 2016 the Community Programme had an external review. This involved sessions I held at Grange Court with About Face Theatre Company:
